roller derby!

Last Saturday afternoon the bf and I did something new.  Roller Derby!  We have a local team here and one of the young women that I used to work with recently tried out and made the team!  I remember watching the Los Angeles roller derby team on TV when I was a kid and always thought it was such fun! It's even more so in person!

And this little lady rocked!  She's just the kind of girl you would never associate with such a rough game - I didn't, anyway.  She's little and so cute and as soft spoken and sweet as can be.  Until she puts on her skates, I guess. This cute little thing kicked ass and took names! Definitely a fun afternoon and we'll do it again.
