The always lovely Jane, over at Smallbutcharming.blogspot.com is having a flower party at her place! This is what I'm bringing, just in from my garden:
I keep forgetting about the party. I love irises. It's too bad they don't last longer.
If you use Excel everyday, I'm sure you can figure our how I made that diagram but if you have any questions about it, feel free to e-mail me at urbancottageblog@gmail.com. I think it's enormously helpful to see things in scale and this did the trick. The designers laughed at me but use what you know!
hi webb! We have been cold for the last few days, too, but we had a preview of spring last week and now we have flowers popping up all over! Yay! Steve - you have inspired me to give it a go! Bonnie - I was thinking you are not too far from where I am...I would have thought you'd be in the same zone? What zone are you? We're 7 here...

Beautiful purple irises. Mine are beginning to perk up, but haven't given me a hint they are ready to shoot up the blooms yet. Bonnie
